敬愛的鮑思高基金會以及包柏基夫婦：
首先，心裏十分過意不去，這麼遲才向大家彙報交流和彙報學習、生活，學生心裏希望能得到原諒,，以減輕內心深深的愧疚。
細細回想，上一次向長輩們彙報近況已經是大學一年級的時候，現在學生都已經到大二啦，也就是說後面有學弟學妹繼續加入我們鮑思高始興同學會啦！其實，剛剛開學的時候，就想分享分享我過去一段時間學習、生活和工作的經歷、體會，但是，過了人圓月圓的中秋佳節、又過了舉國歡慶的新中國生日，學生都始終無法完全寫下，也只能在這裡送上遲到的祝福哦～！到了現在，看到了你們主動寄來的ｅｍａｉｌ，其中對天主的堅定信仰，對鮑神父精神的努力實踐，對年輕人一路真誠的關心，我於是要一鼓作氣向可敬的長輩們報告——因為在一年級的時候，學習、兼職工作、生活這些安排的不合理，加上剛剛進入一個從來沒有遇到過的大環境中，學生的思想上有些跟不上進步，學習情況也不理想，實在是辜負了你們的關心，我感到自己像掉進了罪惡的深淵！可是始終覺得，欺騙的事情不能做，學生不能像不想做作業的時候就應付過去，把這寶貴的交流機會敷衍和浪費掉；不過，請放心，我一定會擺脫那段時間的不上進，重新使自己走回正確的軌道。
看到了這麼多位虔誠的會員們在暑假時候為大眾幸福努力，我想到我的暑假，也可能只是為我的家庭做了些什麽，還不能說是幫助身邊的人。７月份我和以前高中同學一起去深圳一家高爾夫球公司面試做暑假工，然後在那裡工作了一個月。這其中有很多有趣的事情，當然也有很枯燥的上班，所以我感覺自己這短短一個月學的東西比在學校一個學期學得更多。首先是面試，由於這家公司規模比較大，雖然我面試的球車管理員這個職位員工經常流動，它也是不招收暑期工的；沒有辦法，只能說自己是剛剛畢業的高中生咯。所以這份工作的得到，也是有一定說謊的成份，回想起來自己做的也不能說十全十美了，心裡有時候有些反省；可是，生活就是這樣吧，有時爲了對自己有利的事情，做了一些觸動道德的事情，既是無奈，也是無力。所以，現在覺得以前一直堅守所謂的原則有時是無理取鬧，那個時候看不慣或者說道德踩線的事情，換一種角度和心態去看，也許是當事人不想去做而又不得不去做，對這種情況，我想給其做法一種理解，我想這個世界應該有更多的寬容，而不是見人落難的時候幸災樂禍，更加不是落井下石、水打落水狗。因此，我更加敬佩鮑思高這個大家庭裏每一個關心、愛護別人的人，越來越覺得世界上需要更多的“鮑神父”。
回到暑假的工作，面試成功後就開始工作了。高爾夫球是最貴族的運動之一，也就說明有很多很多低層乃至底層的人為它賣力地工作著，我也成了其中之一。工作內容很簡單，每天看管球車，保養球車，宿舍、車庫、餐廳三點一線的生活，這讓我想起以前的高中生活。從前我覺得只要讀好課本、學多知識就能做好人、成大事，就像現在的工作一樣，工作跟著領導走，讀書就跟著老師走，簡單得不用多想，就能走出一片天。但是事實遠遠不是這樣，很多事情的動因、結果都不是三點一線那樣簡單，如果還像高中一樣覺得自己好了全世界就幸福了，永遠都走不出自己目光短淺的那個圓圈。在公司裏工作整一個月後，哈哈，也把五個球場逛得很熟了，對公司的其他一些工作和層次也有了一定瞭解，也就收拾好行李準備回幾個月沒回過的家了。
時間真是過得快，在始興和家人相處了十天，就來到學校準備開始新的一個年級了，然後日子又走到了現在，過了一個多月。還記得五六月的時候，在始興初中梁廣榕勵志班的籌備中，我們同學會策劃的“手拉手——伴飛”活動，有一段時期懷著熱切的心情去參與、去期待，但是偏偏好事多磨，現在活動遭遇擱淺，實在是痛心和惋惜。這就像澳門謝神父在和我們談心的時候，經常提起的在廣州一間學校辦學遭到不法阻斷一樣，總有那麼一些意想不到的“驚喜”在打擊這我們，讓人失望。但是，我們更應該繼續努力，疑難而上，不怕邪氣，做真正對的事，我希望以後的活動中自己能夠做更多！

Dear Sir:
It is the first time that I write to sincerely somebody who is so kind and nice in English！So，there will be some stupid errors in this article, but I still hope it can deliver my gratitude exactly.
Time files. Things changed a lot since I went to here, South….. University(....)，an big environment bigger than 3 square kilometers with more 40 thousand students. It won’t be easy for me to pay the tuition without your loving subsidies, so I heartily appreciate you! Actually, I think what I should feel thankful more is the heart of helping each other wholeheartedly, and that is what I must learn and fulfill. Guangzhou is a jolly modern international city, just like Kilimanjaro, which includes kinds of hierarchy. Therefore, you can find many chances to get lots of resources and improve yourself in here, for example, my university’s library owns millions of books, the Guangzhou Library also has more than one million books and videos; also, you can find many foreign friends not only in CBD level-highly but also in Yuexiu District. Comparing Five Star hotels and crowded external populations’ habitation I saw, I think I can comprehend your studious life in Hong Kong and I need more ability to gain much. That is to say, I have learnt and understood the importance of becoming stronger, and that I am trying.
There still many things and feelings I want to share with you, but this time, it’s to end of my sharing. So, hoping yours sharing also, and sending my best wishes for you!

Thank you for telling us your news and about some challenges that you facing recently !
I appreciate your honesty and I do believe you shall be making lots of options and choices in the future.
All unknown and uncertainty worth our young generation exploring.
My simple solution as such:
To love our God (the True , the Beauty, the Good) in the highest.
To love other people as we love ourselves.
I pray for you and please try praying when time of difficulties or before tough decision making.
It works for many smart people as well. Even only we talk to our consciousness that we shall be calm and peaceful in mind. I have good faith in you become a capable person what is utmost important to do and finish in the right time !
I known that we have to do something in sometimes not good and not perfect :
- but at least not hurting other people.
- but at most not for long.
Above all, we know what is right and what is not right to do from time to time.
This is the value of our Free Will and Free Soul and Free Mind.
We are not perfect but we try our best to do what our God want us to be - (back home as His Children).
That make us happy and peaceful when approaching this righteous path to His Will.

In these recent days, precisely on 28th of October, 2015 at around 1030 hours East African time, I received a bankers cheque worth Ksh 35,000 towards my tuition this semester, I could not hide my happiness receiving this cheque and Fr Selvam can attest to this. My face literally became wider than usual. I tolf Father Selvam yesterday that "people will always remember you because of the impact you make to their lives and hoe relate to them"
I swiftly ran to our accounts office to present the cheque to the finance officer and I am happy to be back in class now because I had been out of class for two weeks and consequently dropped four units reducing them to five as I originally registered for nine all on financial grounds. I thank all those who contributed towards this and you for the coordination. May the Lord reward you abundantly.
I am happy because now I am back in class though with less units. Once more, may the blessings of the Lord flow your way as you continue helping those who are as disadvantaged as me in pursuing their careers. I am happy and my you be blessed abundantly.
